What is "contract manufacturing" (toll blending)?

Toll blending is a process in which our clients need a particular chemical formula developed by experts… like us. You provide the formula… OR… consult with us and ask us to provide a blend for a particular market line of chemicals you want to pursue.

We can provide the materials, custom blending expertise, manufacturing, private labeling, and drop shipping, if desired. It’s all tailored to the needs of our clientele.

Why consider contract manufacturing? Contract manufacturing is the process of making a arrangement that allows our customers to leverage our manufacturing expertise. EnginALL. motor oil additive (fortifier”) developed along these lines as well. Jim Stuart, the inventor of Enginall, is a sports car enthusiasts as are so many of his personal friends. There were so many of Jim’s friends who asked him if he could solve the problem faced by the failure of so many of the motor oil additives:

► Some motor oil additives create particulate material (insolubles) that CAN do immense harm to an engine.

►Many motor oil additives allowed terrible galling of engine surfaces , offsetting any real benefits offered.

► Some motor oil additives really had no proof of working in engine oil environments.

► Many motor oil additives did nothing about harmful “blow by” gases, heat reduction , galling, cold starting problems, or real friction fighting propensities.

For many years, people experimented with their own vehicles, testing what was to become known as EnginALL in their own cars, trucks, min-vans, sports cars, classic cars, diesel engines, motor boat engine additive, motorcycles, antique cars… even cranes with their $40,000 gear boxes used the proprietary blend he created.



Prior to its being officially introduced to the marketplace in 2007, EnginALL. had been used in many internal combustion engines, operating in various parts of the country (since late 1999).

The product has been tested successfully for seven years in 4, 6, and 8 cylinder automobile engines, diesel engines, 4 cycle off road vehicle engines, and I/O boat engines.

The product has also been successfully tested in automotive differentials.

I am glad to see ENGINALL finally come on the market. I have been using it in all of my vehicles since it was developed in 2000. With gas and vehicle prices as high as they are now, I need all the help I can get. 2. Customers who have their own manufacturing capabilities often face a situation where their orders exceed their own production capacity. They don’t want to turn away any clients so, instead of investing capital to increase capacity and employees for what may be only a temporary spike in demand for product, they trust their run over to New Age Chemical. Their orders are filled under their label promptly and efficiently without the capital risk usually needed in facing market demand.

3. Customers who at this point in time use another contract manufacturer often ask New Age to quote on new ideas. Often we are called in to assess their existing toll blending arrangements to see if we can expand upon them.

Moving over to New Age Chemical invariably eliminates difficulties with product quality, downtime, cost, and performance problems. In situations where, for example, changing blenders isn’t feasible, New Age Chemical often becomes a valuable additional manufacturing resource.

4. Often capital equipment manufacturing companies (for example, power washers) realize they are leaving money on the table by failing to supply the chemical blends used by their equipment. Why not provide your new clients with blends which will produce residual sales for you? After all, who is in a better position to sell a chemical blend than the expert who just sold them the equipment! Most often, the residual sales will total over time much more business from loyal clients than the equipment itself. And we do all the blend production under your private label… or ours, as need requires.



5. Often a product can be manufactured in the New Age Chemical facility in Delafield, Wisconsin and drop-shipped within an area at a substantially lower cost to a customer than the customer might otherwise incur. This is usually the case when a manufacturer is producing at their own facility and shipping a much greater distance. Manufacturers located in other regions of the US or overseas away from their clients, often turn to us as a toll blending associate.


6. Many salesmen and manufacturers reps can and do find themselves out of a job with former employers. But, they still have their skills and contacts. They arrange with us to manufacture a blend for clients of their own. Not a few have begun their new business using our capacity to fill your sales orders.
