EnginALL Question & Answers

Here’s My Questions…
(automotive, trucks, diesels, motorcycles, marine, construction vehicles, tractors and farming vehicles, oceangoing engines, 4 cycles generally)

1. What is EnginAll?

Enginall is an oil “fortifier” designed to do what many oil additives only claim to do: protect the engine from the damaging effects of friction, heat, and scoring.

2. How was Enginall discovered?

Originally, New Age Chemical, Ltd., the developer of Enginall, was seeking a way to improve the quality of the lubricants it sold to industrial accounts. The task at hand was to produce a product that lubricated as well as products that contained lead, as lead has long been recognized as being a superior lubricant, however, is now classified as being hazardous. The end result was the combination of raw materials now found in enginall, which are routinely used in lubricants sold by New Age Chemical, Ltd. to industrial manufacturers throughout the land. Like most discoveries, using Enginall as a lubricant for internal combustion engines occurred later in the developmental process, after it had proved itself industrially. As a result, after almost a decade of strenuous testing, Enginall is now being introduced commercially into the automotive/trucking/motorcycle world.

Friction: This is the Real Issue for Additives and Fortifiers

Can consumers expect to raise fuel economy in their cars?

Yes. But, understanding the problem is a “must”. Reduction in gas mileage is a result of many factors. ONE of the biggest factors affecting your mileage is the presence of FRICTION inside your engine.

Countless engine oil additives promise “reduced friction” and thereby an increase in gas mileage. The two issues are directly related. The only question is whether the engine oil additive can produce the reduction of friction WITHOUT creating other problems.

Consider the following issues:

The proprietary blend in Enginall has a scientific legacy behind it in many other industrial fields. In other words, the automotive field was the about the LAST to gain the anti-friction advantages of the product. Other industrial solutions needed to be solved – and were solved by professional contract manufacturing approaches (toll blending experts!) – before the exceptional problems inherent in the automotive and diesel industries could be solved. See photos from dynamometer tests

Enginall has an unusual property. When heated, components of its proprietary blend disassociate and, because of their high polarity, are strongly attracted to warm metal surfaces in the engine components and mating surfaces. But, note this, when the additive cools, its key component EXPAND, thereby adhering to the surfaces, instead of draining back into the oil pan.

3. How is it used commercially?

It is used commercially to reduce friction and heat in many industrial products. It is used in many kinds of commercial applications such as: crane gear boxes, chain lubricants, mold releases, forming oils, drilling and tapping compounds, penetrating oils, and specialty greases. It has, and currently is, being used by hundreds of people who have successfully experimented with it in their cars, trucks, and other
4 cycle engines over the years.

I am a member of the Biertzer Motor Sports racing team which participates in Sprint Car Racing in the Interstate Racing Association (I.R.A.). For the past 2 years we have used ENGINALL at a ratio of 1 oz. per quart of oil in our gearboxes. Everything stays cooler. Our gearbox re-manufacturer can’t believe how little wear is on the gears. It works great!

4. In what kind of engines is Enginall designed to perform?

It is designed to perform in any and all 4 cycle gasoline powered engines.

5. Do you recommend it for 2 cycle engines?

No. It has not been tested in 2 cycle engines.

6. Will EnginAll improve fuel mileage by reducing internal friction in the engine?
Yes. That is what it is designed to accomplish. But, you may not see results immediately. Some do. But, usually, it takes Enginall about 1200 miles before it begins to have an effect, which in most instances brings you noticeable increases in gas mileage.

Consumers Need Help with Gas Prices!
Given the gas prices we face and the ongoing necessity to make our cars and trucks LAST longer and endure for years, consumers need help in making “automotive stress” (the following problems) “go away”. This help is forthcoming with the introduction of Enginall which will let you experience:
  • Increased fuel economy and less wear. Friction in the engine cuts back on fuel economy and promotes engine component wear. If the friction can be reduced, mileage per gallon will increase, ceteris paribus (Latin for “All other factors remaining constant”.)
  • Lower engine temperature. If friction inside an engine is significantly decreased, then the engine temperature should also be significantly decreased, as friction is the major cause of higher engine temperatures. Dynamometer tests with oil using Enginall have proven this concept to be accurate.
  • Less Wear. If the friction and heat both drop off, engine wear should also decrease off markedly. In other words, your engine should last you well beyond the averages found today, or roughly about 200,000 miles. Also proven to be accurate with dynamometer tests using oil with Enginall.
  • Having no compatibility problems with the motor oil being used. Such an engine oil additive should be usable in all synthetic and regular engine oils.
  • Have complete freedom from excessive wear, even at start-up. With use, Enginall, which acts much like lead but is non-toxic, will actually adhere to cylinder walls, where it forms a microscopic lubricating layer, preventing “Dry Start up”, which is the cause of most engine wear.

7. When do you use EnginAll?

You can add it your engine oil any time. We recommend you add it to every oil change at the rate of one ounce Enginall per one quart motor oil without overfilling.

8. Does EnginAll replace a quart of oil at oil change time or whenever the crankcase is down a quart?

Neither. Only one ounce of EnginAll per quart of motor oil (without overfilling) is enough. We do NOT recommend greater amounts in excess of that figure.

9. Does Enginall remove or dissolve harmful engine deposits?

No. It works to prevent initial build up of sludge caused by the breakdown of oil additives as a result of excessive engine heat.

Prior to its being officially introduced to the automotive and diesel marketplace in 2007, ENGINALL has been used in dozens of internal combustion engines, operating in various parts of the country, since late 1999. The product has been tested successfully in 4, 6, and 8 cylinder automobile engines, diesel engines, motorcycles, 4 cycle off road vehicle engines, and I/O marine engines. The product has been successfully tested in automotive differentials as well.

10. Does it free sticking valve lifters?

Results from dynamometer tests indicate that valve lifters, once lubricated by components of Enginall, will tend to move more freely.

11. Does it promote longer engine life and efficient, powerful performance?

Yes. Tests show a marked increase in horsepower.

We know that in this economic climate as consumers, people are pressed to find answers to EXPENSIVE car maintenance problems. In fact, all of us will need to take every possible precaution to insure that our cars and trucks are well maintained and repairs are kept to an affordable minimum.

Cars are so complex today, that even the changing of your oil can be a nightmare on the newer vehicles. Who would have thought that such a simple thing would no longer be so simple for many today?

12. Does Enginall reduce engine friction and wear, including at start-up time?

Yes. It shows a remarkable capacity to reduce friction and wear, especially at start-up, when most engine wear occurs.

13. Why is friction such a critical issue for engines?

Friction is the key factor causing wear on moving engine components, which when allowed to continue, results in component failure. Enginall, with its proprietary additives, dramatically reduces the affects of friction, therefore, greatly extending engine life.

14. Is Enginall compatible with other motor oils?

EnginAll is compatible with SAE specification motor oils & all non-petroleum-based synthetic motor oils.
Sulfur’s protective feature (found in virtually all manufacturers’ recommended engine oils) tends to "fry" at higher engine temperatures creating a foul, filter clogging, engine sludge we hear so much about as well as producing corrosive sulfuric acid.

Phosphorous also creates a problem and in time, it will produce a corrosive phosphoric acid. Both of these acids are damaging to engine components. Most oil fortifiers on the market today, because of their inherent composition, actually compound these problems.

Not so with EnginAll. It is designed to provide the needed engine protection and actually enhances the other additives so that they perform more effectively, thereby reducing overall friction and heat inside the engine.

15. Does it prevent the damaging “dry start up” which occurs in most engines?

Yes. Destructive “dry start-up” is a result of all of the components of the oil draining back into the oil pan when the engine is shut off. When the engine is re-started, it takes several seconds for the cylinder walls to become re-lubricated, and during this period, wear occurs. Enginall contains proprietary additives that lubricate much like lead, however, unlike lead, these additives adhere to the cylinder wall, providing a continuous, instantly lubricating film that lubricates until the oil reaches the critical areas.

16. Does it increase “oil pressure”?

Engineall itself does not increase oil pressure, however its use does cause oil pressure to rise. What happens is, Enginall causes microscopic depositions of self sacrificing substances, much like lead, to adhere to cylinder walls which decrease the gap between the piston ring and the cylinder wall. This decreased gap causes oil pressure to rise. There is also a subsequent, and significant, increase in the horsepower of the engine.

17. Does EnginAll work to reduce oil thinning?

Yes, it helps maintain lower engine heat, thereby reducing oil thinning

18. What about the environment?  How safe is EnginALL for our environment?

Enginall is environmentally “friendly” and its fortifying agent is not considered a harmful or dangerous substance. Of course, it is not to be ingested either.

19. Can EnginAll be used in vehicle differentials?

Yes. We do recommend it for vehicle differentials. In fact, it was designed for such use.

In addition to engine oils, the product has also been successfully tested in automotive differentials. Of course, the engine oil fortifying technology has a history of use in industrial gearboxes where it was “birthed” many years ago.

20. Does it retain oil flow characteristics (pour point) in cold weather?

Enginall will not affect the pour point of the oil you elect to use.

21. What about the destructiveness of “Blow by” found in so many engines?

EnginALL works to prevent environmentally destructive "blow by" from occurring. Usually, “blow by” occurs because of excessive piston ring wear caused by ineffective anti-frictional additives found in most commercial motor oils. EnginAll can dramatically reduce “blow by” in most engines, though some engines may be so severely compromised that nothing can help, and major repairs are in order.

22. What one statement epitomizes Enginall’s primary “mission” as a motor oil fortifier?

EnginALL provides a safe, semi-permanent, self sacrificing, protective, lubricating layer, much like that of lead, reducing wear on pistons, rings, lifters, bearings, cam lobes, and other metallic moving engine components.

23. Can engine life be prolonged by EnginAll?

From the standpoint of engine (metal) components, yes, Enginall most certainly promotes longer engine life as well as efficient, powerful performance due to a dramatic reduction in destructive friction.

24. Will Enginall “quiet” noisy valve lifters?

If the lifters are not seriously worn, reduction in noise may be experienced. If the lifters are seriously worm, a repair is in order.

25. Will Enginall remove harmful upper cylinder deposits?

No. Enginall works to prevent deposits. Of course, if you are now using engine oil fortifiers, you should reconsider the composition of these additives, and stop using those which will cause damage to your engine and/or help build up deposits. If you’ve been using a less expensive, substandard lubricant, and/or relying on oil additives comprised of…
  • PTFE
  • molybdenum (“Moly”)
  • chlorinated paraffin (paraffin = “wax”, in hot car engines, for heavens sake!)
  • zinc additives
  • Or just plain ole’ sulfur or phosphorus…
… you probably have both corrosive sludge and deposit build up.

26. Does EnginAll help engines turn over easier in cold weather?

Enginall provides friction resistant surfaces inside your engine. Cold weather start ups by their very nature involve other issues, not the least of which is the oil viscosity and make up of the oil itself. EnginAll is not designed to REPLACE your motor oil, but to be used in conjunction WITH your present motor oil. In every instance, after testing Enginall in dozens of commercial motor oils, the oil was significantly improved, no matter what brand was tested.

27. Will Enginall remove deposits of varnish, gum and carbon from upper piston rings?

No. These damaging by-products are the result of excessive engine heat. Using Enginall will reduce engine temperature, thereby reducing further build-up of these by-products, but it is not intended to remove them.

28. Does Enginall keep the upper cylinder area clean and free of harmful power robbing deposits?

No. Remember, Enginall is not designed to REMOVE deposits, but it WILL help prevent them from forming. If these deposits are already present, start using Enginall which will reduce engine heat, and will not cause the deposits to increase. Deposits will always occur. But, the significance of “HOW MUCH?” is the real question for all engines.

29. Does Enginall eliminate engine ping and run-on ?

No. This is unrelated to the oil.

Can a single listing of the benefits of using Enginall be given …

We’ll give it a try…

► Can reduce oil burning caused by “blow by”, and prevents (or can even eliminate in some vehicles) “dry start-up”

► Increases oil pressure and power on well maintained engines

► Maintains lower engine heat, thereby reducing oil thinning

► Provides a self sacrificing, protective, lubricating layer reducing wear on pistons, rings and bearings, and other moving engine components

► May quiet noisy valves and lifters

► Compatible with all petroleum-based conventional and synthetic motor oils and the SJ specification oils.

► To be effective, must be added to your engine oil at every oil change

► Automobile engine with a 5 quart oil capacity, simply use one 5 oz. bottle (without overfilling)

► Fortifies the properties of motor oil, both traditional and synthetic

► Prevents oil additive breakdown caused by extreme temperatures.

I have always been considered a “gear head” and love tinkering with cars. I drive a small 4 cylinder sports car now and believed that I had “maxed out” on my mileage, which was 30 m.p.g. After hearing about ENGINALL and asked to test it, I tried some, and, much to my surprise, have increased my mileage by a whopping 10%. The only way that can happen is by drastically reducing friction. I’m a believer.

► Protects against scoring or seizing and maintains a highly polished, wear resistant finish on engine surfaces.

► Provides the same tremendous benefits for all 4 stroke marine engines.

► Use it in the same amounts listed for automotive use for use in your marine engine.

► Is completely safe in today’s high-tech computerized engines.

► Upper cylinder lubrication, reduced corrosion due to acid and sludge build up, improved fuel economy

► There has been no reported damage to oxygen sensors, fuel sensors or catalytic converters during extensive product testing

► Enginall contains an acid-combating additive

► Cuts down the generation of “wear metals” especially Iron, copper, and lead which are normally the ones to watch?

► The presence of wear metals indicates ineffective lubrication and corrosive acid build-up. EnginAll reduces wear metal generation by significantly reducing frictional heat.

►Compatible with most popular SAE oils. We know of no exceptions.

► Decreases oil additive breakdown by reducing oil temperatures

Other Uses?

►Can Enginall be used as a differential additive? YES, it will definitely reduce gear wear

►Can Enginall be used also in diesel engines? Yes.

► Can Enginall be used in 4 cycle marine engines? Yes

30. Must Enginall be added to your engine oil at every oil change?

Yes. As the protection is self sacrificing, this is the only way to protect your engine with Enginall continuously.

31. Can Enginall be used in the transmission?

We haven’t tested it in transmissions.

32. Things Enginall is NOT designed to do?

Enginall will not do the following:

► Does NOT cut down on insolubles (formed by additives normally found in the oil used)

► Does NOT eliminate fuel, antifreeze, and water in the oil

► Does NOT reduce carbon build-up on spark plugs

► Does NOT remove engine deposits from already dirty engines

► IS NOT designed to replace regular engine oil

► Has Not been tested in automatic transmission fluids, however, initial tests show promise.

► Does NOT affect oil’s pour point in low temperatures.

► Doesn’t leap tall buildings in a single bound…

33. Safety of my car, truck and their components?

  • Extensive testing indicates that Enginall is completely safe in today’s high-tech cars.
  • Severe dynamometer tests show that Enginall will provide upper cylinder lubrication, reduce acid and sludge build up, and improve fuel economy.
  • After years of testing, no report has been received indicating that Enginall will cause any damage to oxygen sensors, fuel sensors or catalytic converters.
